Long Cardigan — Knee-Length Hooded Cardigan in Linen & Mohair
This knee-length cardigan has a unique drape due to the combination of heavy linen fiber and the silky luster of mohair. It is hooded, but because of the yarn combination the hood feels sophisticated and casual at the same time. This garment can be enjoyed throughout the entire cool weather season — worn with a t-shirt in autumn or layered warmly in winter.
Both the front and back are worked flat from the bottom in a trapezoidal shape. After the shoulders are sewn together, the sleeves are picked up from the body and worked down. The hood is picked up from the neckline. Pockets are knit separately and sewn on afterwards — pocket positions are indicated on the diagram, but can be adjusted to suit each knitter's arm length after trying on.
